OUR MINISTRIES
Life Groups
Fellowship, Bible study and prayer are so important in the life of a Christian. Our Life Groups provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships with others and grow spiritually together. We have two Life Groups that meet on a Wednesday night in Upper Hutt and on a Thursday night in Lower Hutt. Our Life Groups study and discuss the book from the Bible that we are currently teaching through on a Sunday morning. All are welcome to come along!
Children and Creche
On Sunday morning we have both school age children’s ministry and pre-school age creche available during service. This gets our children in the Scriptures and encouraged in their faith from a young age and gives parents the opportunity to be in for the whole of our worship services.
Refuge Youth
Our college-age youth group (years 9 to 13) meets weekly on Friday nights. The youth enjoy fun times playing games, socialising and studying the Bible. We aim to raise up young men and women who are strong in their faith, rooted in God's word, and shine brightly for Jesus.
Gone Fishin' Street Witnessing
Jesus said to Peter and Andrew “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). As Christians we are commissioned to share the gospel and make disciples. One way we do this is by heading out on the third Saturday each month to share the good news. Join us as we hand out gospel tracts, have gospel conversations and pray for people that we meet.
Men's and Women's Ministry
We have men’s and women’s ministry gatherings that meet periodically throughout the year.
Prayer
When God’s people pray, amazing things happen. All are welcome to join us at church on a Sunday morning at 9.30am as we pray for the service. Men’s prayer is on each Tuesday night at 7.30pm.
Pastoral Support
Pastoral support and Biblical counselling is available.
