The Heart Behind the Conference
From Ephesians 4:11-12, the heart behind our Equip & Edify Conference is to see God's people encouraged in their faith and better equipped for the work of ministry that God has for them. This year's theme is 'Character of Ministry' where we will look at different characters in the Bible and character traits necessary for effective ministry in the church and to each play our part in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Guest Speaker
We are pleased to have Pastor Jeremy Foster back with us this year. Jeremy is pastor at Calvary Chapel in the Ozarks, Arkansas, USA. Jeremy has a passion for teaching God's Word. His heart primarily is to see believers grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through a greater understanding of the Bible. Jeremy served the Lord across Europe for many years before arriving in Arkansas. Jeremy and his wife, Christi (who is also joining us), have four children and one grandchild.
Conference Details
The conference runs from Friday evening on 24 May to Sunday morning on 26 May. Friday night and Saturday will be at the Silverstream Retreat (3 Reynolds Bach Drive) and Sunday will be our usual church service at Naenae Primary School (27 Wheatley Street).

Friday and Sunday - no cost.
Saturday - $30 per person (morning tea and lunch). Dinner Saturday night is self-catered.
